Since it is Mardi Gras, I thought I would interrupt our already in progress trip report to talk about one of my very favourite cities: New Orleans. In all honesty, I could see us happily retired there. We have been a few times now, and it is never boring.
It was in New Orleans that a bartender explained to me how to order a drink to get it exactly how I like it. It was at the Crescent City Brew House that I discovered I like lobster enough to be willing to pay for it occasionally. In short, it's been educational.
I will do a full report on New Orleans in the future, but for now, a few shots from Bourbon Street, so you can see where my heart is today.
