It was a surprisingly good day. I had a short hop (regional jet) from Toronto to Newark. For an hour long flight, it was pretty plush. The seats were great, the "snack" was delicious and the service was exquisite.
My connection to Panama was delayed, but still not long enough for my luggage to make it on the plane. Oh well, there was lots of foot space, and sparkling wine. The flight had DirectTV, but the movie choices were a bit underwhelming.
The sun set as we were flying over Jamaica. It was very pretty.
At last, I arrived at my resort. The cab ride was $40US, which was actually less than I had been led to believe. I was greeted with a glass of champagne, and sent up to my room. I think I will be comfortable here.
Next up: Panama by daylight.
